Sampletank 2 L
I have a few old songs using Sampletank 2. Using Cubase Pro 8.5 (also have 6 and 7.5 on my machine).In those early days the dll was sampletank2.dllAt some point it IKM changed the DLL name to sampletank2.x.dllSo obviously my old songs I can no longer load.
Since it can't find sampletank2.dll.Obviously, in hindsight, I would have documented the patches I used. Stupidly I didn'tIs there any way around this, so that I can get sampletank2.x to read the patch list for older sampletank2.dll?I've tried dropping sampletank2.dll into the vst folder and it totally locks up Cubase (since the dll is from 2003, I'm assuming Cubase 8 doesn't support that old a VST plugin)At the moment, it looks l will need to install a really old version of Cubase. Open the file, write down the patches and then manually recreate them in Sampletank2.x or probably 3.I just wondered if there was an easier solution?
